Oliver Hickinbotham
Oliver is Finance Manager at Illuminate, responsible for the day-to-day accounting across the firm's group entities in the UK, US and Singapore, and for the integrity of the financial data that underpins the platform.
His remit spans management reporting, fund operations, treasury and tax compliance across the group, alongside the investor reporting and fundraising materials that support the firm's Limited Partner relationships.
Oliver trained as a Chartered Accountant at Menzies LLP, where he specialised in the investment management sector, leading audits of authorised and unauthorised AIFs, subsidiaries of VCTs, fund management companies and early-stage accelerators and became the firm's lead manager in London for that sector.
He also spent time on secondment in Australia with HLB Mann Judd before joining Illuminate in February 2023.
He holds a first-class BEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
