Julie is an Investor at Illuminate Financial, where she evaluates and leads venture investments in fintech and enterprise technology companies as part of the firm’s investment team.

With nearly a decade of experience across venture capital, growth equity, and public markets, she has worked as both an investor and a public markets analyst, giving her a differentiated perspective on how financial and enterprise technology businesses scale from early traction to maturity.

Previously, Julie was a member of the investment team at Fifth Wall, a built world venture capital firm, where she initially interned while completing an MBA at Harvard Business School. Prior to business school, Julie spent two years on JP Morgan's Strategic Investments team where she partnered with the firm's various lines of business to make principal venture and growth equity investments in technology and financial services companies. Julie began her career at Goldman Sachs in equity research as a member of the payments and IT services team.

Julie holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics, summa cum laude, from Georgetown University.

She is particularly interested in the evolution of financial infrastructure, embedded finance, and private credit, and how these shifts are reshaping capital formation and access across global markets.

Outside of work, you’ll find her horseback riding, biking or hiking outdoors, and exploring her interest in interior design.
