Ellen is an Executive Assistant at Illuminate Financial, providing dedicated support to General Partner Rezso Szabo and the London deal team. Her role is central to ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations for the London deal team within a fast-paced investment environment.

Ellen has a long-standing relationship with Illuminate, having first joined as a Team Assistant supporting the deal team before stepping away to complete a BA (Hons) First Class Degree, while maintaining her connection to the firm throughout. She returned to Illuminate in a permanent, Executive Assistant role, coordinating complex schedules, meetings and day-to-day priorities across the London office. Her broader career also spans personal assistance, administration, payroll, and sales support - giving her a versatile skillset and a natural ease across very different environments.

Ellen is particularly passionate about the evolving role of the EA - and how smarter technology and new ways of working can unlock greater efficiency and allow executive assistants to have an even more meaningful impact at senior level.

Outside of work, Ellen is happiest exploring new countries, spending time with family in Wales, or taking her dog Bonnie on long walks.
